Lyra is just a normal girl craving what most girls want: adventure, love, and someone to walk through life with. There's nothing special about her unless you count the fact that she had enough courage to ask a random, but cute, guy to marry her.  

Who he is, well you have to read to find out, but all you need to know now is that he's not one to turn down a chance of a lifetime. I guess it's up to you to see what that entails.
