I go to her house, it's 9:30 the house is pitch black, her windows are broken, her car is in the drive way, but her parents car is gone. I walk in her house I turn on the light it's hanging with everything it's got, the couch is on its side and ripped, the white carpeting is ripped, the walls have holes in it, the tv is broken and on the floor, I run up the stairs to her room worried. Her bed looks perfect, her room is all clean, I look at the dresser from top to bottom and see under is dry wall pieces, so I start to move the dresser it was so light I look in her drawers and there is no clothing. I kept moving the dresser to reveal a safe that was hidden under a wall, the safe was cracked open I open it to reveal a note it read.....

I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps.
