Tessa was a 17 year old girl who was born in Tennessee, but when her mom died and her father couldn't deal with a sad 14 year old, he shipped her off to Los Angeles. She wanted out, but she knew- if she was not adopted before her 18th birthday, she would be stuck in her nun and schooling center. She would be stuck as a working nun, and not allowed out. She also knew she had no chance of getting adopted because she was 17 almost 18 years old and no one wants a to adopt a young adult. But... They do.
