After a nuclear apocalypse raged over Earth, select people were sent up into space on 'The Ark' in order to preserve the human race. Fast forward 97 years and The Ark is dying. There's not enough oxygen to be able to live much longer. 100 juvenile delinquents (in jail, waiting to be executed for their crimes) are sent down to earth to see if the Earth is habitable once more, or if the radiation was too much for humans to bare. Skylar Davis, a nearly invisible resident of The Ark, would do anything to get to the ground. Nearly getting floated (or executed by being sucked into space without a space suit), she worked diligently to break of a well known section of The Ark so she could land safely on Earth (after evacuating the premises with a false alarm of course). Little did she know that The 100 aren't the only ones on the ground. They human race survived the apocalypse, and are not happy about sharing their territory with the foreign 'Sky People', as they referred to the 100. Now, not only does Skylar have to deal with the problems of being surrounded with criminal juveniles, she must find a way to survive against the hostile grounders.

A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. Halfway after entering the green and blue planet's atmosphere, it started burning up, rendering some of its parts unusable. Inside this burning contraption are a bunch of...kids. These kids numbered a hundred, have ages ranging from 12 to 17. And as for why they are all strapped inside this burning 90-year-old dropship heading to the ground...Well, it all started at the end. Ninety-seven years ago, a nuclear apocalypse struck the Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. But of course, the human race was a stubborn one. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? The council had a lot of reasons, but the main one being: these kids were expendable, after all, they are criminals. --- This is a The 100 Fanfiction. The MC is a reincarnator. Yeah, I know. It might as well be a self-insert fic at just how much I relate my MCs to myself. Anyway... This story has been picking up dust in the corner of my WIPs. It's time to let it see the light of day. It's been so long since I started this fic, hence I will have to revisit the deepest part of my head to remember how I wanted this story to go in the first place. Updates will be few and inconsistent. 43àd à5 6974 92ñ 48ßk.

"You say that you have a whole hell of problems, but you underestimate the hell I've been through," I murmur, as he tilts his head downwards towards mine. He glances back in forth between my eyes for a moment before taking my cheek in his hand. He brings his lips centimetres from mine. "We can walk through any hell the world throws at us," he whispers finally before presses his lips against mine. ~~~~ After Hailey Arrette Kane is found as being a second child to Coralie Kane, she is forced into the Skybox per her sister's request. Her sister, Arlo Riv Kane, managed to convince her dad and the council that she needed to die in Hailey's place, allowing Hailey to live just as long as she did but in the Skybox. After her 21st birthday, which marked her fourth year in the Skybox, the council made a decision. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. She will find a better version of herself. Hailey will become what she was always meant to be, a warrior.
