Ever since Ona turned 14 she has been sexually abused by her father. One year later she finally works up the courage to tell her mother about it. And what does her mother do ..she packs her things and leaves in the middle of the night. Two years later Ona is 17 and a mess. She has no one except her best friend Lexia and she almost never talks to boys. She gets teased and bullied in school for being so quiet. Of course they don't understand. No one knows about what her father does to her almost every night. But things start to change when the new boy, Kyle, transfers to her school. Slowly Ona starts to think maybe this is her chance for a new start. A better life...
