Jems mental institute has never had a manic depressive person, they've had schizophrenic people, depressed people, people with eating disorders, people with horrible phobias, and bipolar people. Alex just left Nigel with only leaving a message on a note, telling him he probably comes back - only if possible. Obviously this is a hit in the face for Nigel. The first few months are terrible, and it only gets worse as he gets no word from Alex. No sign of him that could possibly give him some strength to go on. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. As Nigel threats to lose Alex, the connection between the two fades a lot. Alex has barely enough strength to stay around, and gets forced to find a body before he disappears forever. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around. Since she is the only weak person of them all in a near distance, Alex gets into her body - being forced to share it with another soul. As soon as Nigel realizes that the girl isn't just somebody, and they can't get away from each other, there's only one option left. But what will happen? Will Alex get his body back? Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)

Other things to keep in mind, aside from the trigger warnings, are the fact that there are plot holes, there are appearances of toxic relationships (which are not acknowledged to be toxic relationships), mental health is handled really badly (there is some romanization of depression and a blatant lack of proper mental health help being sought out or given), some plot points are poorly resolved, most OCs are two-dimensional and frustrating, etc. So, proceed with caution if you still wish to read it and if not, I hope you find more enjoyment in some of my other work which is more thought out and well-written such as "Apples and Oranges", "Wings of Salvation" and "Capax infinity" for Drarry stories or one of my one-shot collections.
