Imagine if you weren't who everyone thought you were.
Imagine you weren't weak or unloved like others tried to make you believe. Imagine you were strong, and you could stand up to your bullies and pummel them into the ground with only minimal effort.
Only, you can't. You let them believe what they wanted, and you pretended like they were right. Not because they were, but because someone had to be the big, bad wolf and it couldn't be you. You needed to be just a girl, and only that. So you let them have the rope they used to hang you with. Key word being 'let'.
Imagine you were Avalon Wolfe.
Well, in this bizarre tale of your crappy life, these new people come to town and suddenly turn your life upside down. They don't get the memo that they should hate you like everybody else does. Pretty slow, aren't they?
You try your hardest to get them with the program, but get this, they want to be friends with you. F-R-I-E-N-D-S. WTF?
The thing is, you're literally an antisocial pariah by day and sort of a psychopathic serial killer by night. Some nights at least. You're also kind of a werewolf, which is quite the full-time role. How the hell did you even get friends, and what are you supposed to do with them?
And better question, how do you make them go away?

This story is about a girl who is a fighter. She's fighting against being torn down by her bullies and their torment, fighting against the happiness her newfound friends are offering because she's scared it's just a mirage, and fighting against her other nature who wants to cleave the world in two and rid it off all its petty human problems.
I promise its not all just doom and gloom though :)
Does she ever stop fighting? Read to find out...
