Based on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. My interpretation of what happened to the partner after the hero's disappearance and before their return. 

I'm using the names of my hero and partner here, but I keep their species ambiguous. 

Just a bit of a warning, I'm delving into issues with anxiety and depression. If that's a trigger to you in anyway, well, you have been warned. I only touch upon briefly, so don't worry too much.

Partially inspired by a Periphery song of the same name. The meaning behind the song is being unable to let go of the past, so I thought it would be appropriate for this story.

Yup, I'm back with this madness again. Lol. And to add to the insanity this one is kind of a sequel to my previous Pooh, Ash, Yuya, and Sunset's Adventures in The Lost Galaxy. XD. After escaping the Lost Galaxy, Pooh, Ash, Sunset Shimmer, and all their friends thought the Earth was finally safe. Unfortunately, Trakeena, Team Rocket, Queen Chrysalis, and their allies have different plans. I do not own any of the franchises in this, they are all owned by their proper sources. I just created this for fun, non-profit. To share my love of these series with other fans. So, I hope you enjoy the insanity my mind was able to come up with.

The Memories That Follow de chespinfan

After Leaving everything back in Kalos, Ash worries about the decisions he had made that day. " I regret Everything" He always says to himself. Ash has tried over and over to just forget those memories yet they always come back. He had forgotten about those memories, until one Pokemon League changed it all. (This is a story about amourshipping. It will Have events different from the actual anime but they will be very similar. For context, ash will be 11 in the beginning of the story and so will Serena. For the sake of good upload times. I sadly won't write any battle scenes since they could take too long and I'm not very good with them.)

The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. However, all of the characters are mine, with inclusion of an invention (The Flying Flower) and a new territory where the story is set.

But she doubts she will. Until... A Time Gear gets stolen. Then another. Then another. It is after the fourth Time Gear is stolen that the Team goes out to find The Thief. But when Rose comes face-to-face with him, suddenly she realizes something startling, that every time she sees The Thief, something goes off in her mind. Like, her memory. Then, suddenly, something terrible happens, and a Pokemon that was once a friend ends up being the real villain. Florian invites Flare to start a rescue team with him, with no other options, Flare accepts, and together, they form a rescue team to help others in need. They discover lost lands, uncover hidden treasures, and go on one-of-a-kind adventures. However, there are dark secrets to unravel, Flare has to keep his past as a human a secret, and on top of that, a group is out, looking for him. All Flare wants to do is get back home, but he might make some new friends and save the world along the way. (This story contains elements from every Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and is my first attempt at writing, so don't expect flawless work) I do not own Pokémon Characters are made using Gacha Life 2 because I suck at drawing I also PURPOSELY made some parts in the story cringey because in the actual Pmd games, the characters act childish at times (I just wanted to make that clear)
