"Hello!" Quickly, I nodded my head in response. "I'm Shane. What's your name?" He asked, looking at me expectantly. I turned to walk away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "Aren't you going to tell me?" For as long as anyone could remember, Taylor Lewis, has not uttered a word to anyone. Being homeschooled most of her life didn't help either. Fed up, her parents enrolled her at Lakeside High. Starting her senior year at a public school was horrifying to say the least. Frightened, Taylor tries to lay low and out of sight. All was well until the day she crashes in to Shane Grayson. Shane was your typical jock, captain of the soccer team and popular. Intrigued by Taylor's silence, he stops at nothing to figure out why she can't talk. Will Taylor be able to resist him? Or will she finally be able to speak?
