WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF SOMEONE STOLE YOUR LIFE? This short story tells the tragic tale of Gaalin Crassus, an idealistic worker in the polluted, dystopian city of Morior. He has spent his entire life dreaming of the stars, dreaming of a past now forever lost, and so when he hears about the eclipse that will be visible for several precious seconds over Morior one night, he simply cannot resist... Leaving his wife and son at home, he ventures out into the darkness and climbs an ancient hill that overlooks the leaking fusion reactors in a desperate attempt to catch a glimpse of the rare celestial occurrence, despite the heavy ceiling of pollution that has cloaked the city for a generation. What he doesn't realise is that he has wandered into an ancient graveyard during one of the most dark and powerful nights of the century... What happens next changes everything. ***Don't forget to vote and comment!*** Enjoy!

I woke up in a world that shouldn't exist. And in a body that isn't mine. The city around me is in ruins-silent streets, broken buildings, a sky that no longer remembers the sun. I don't know how I got here. I don't know who I am. My memories slip through my fingers like sand, leaving behind only fragments-whispers of a promise I can't remember making. But something is wrong. The world feels... stuck, repeating itself like a broken record. Shadows move where they shouldn't. Time bends in ways I can't explain. And the deeper I search for answers, the clearer it becomes-this isn't just about me. There's something out there, buried in the loops of time. Watching. Waiting. If I break free, will I find the truth? Or will I disappear like everything else? When the stars grant a wish, what do they take in return?
