Step right up folks! Step right up! Behold the result! A hideous combination of sleep deprivation, energy drinks, and my own imagination procrastination! (Heh that rhymed) Because of my own ADD addled imagination, I can't seem to focus on a singular storyline long enough to write one up. So the only logical solution is this. A weekly updated "short story book" chocked full of diverse genres! I mean we got horror, action, drama, sci-fi, young adult, supernatural, you name it we got it! Except for romance. "In my 19 years of life I never really experienced anything worth telling a story about. Usually when something exciting happened to me, which was rare, I'd sum up the key parts and move on. But then I died, and I finally had a story worth talking about. Anyway, how I died isn't too exciting. Just a basic car accident. You know, icy roads, snow coming down hard, a car slides into your lane and then boom. You're standing in the street watching some guy trying to shake you alive and all you can think is, "Damn, I'm dead." Although, I'm sure you've never experienced that, or else I'd be telling you this story face to face. Anyway, that guy begging me to wake up, he's pretty important, remember him. A Big Book of Short Stories
A collection of my ideas. While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. To "Just Another Nightmare," a story about a kind of hell you might never have thought of. This collection will likely make you question if something is wrong with me. Spoiler alert; there is. It will also show you the farthest reaches of the world and the furthest horrors that I can write about. If you want an update on how the next story is coming along, you can ask me however you want. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Also I don't know when I'm gonna update this, it's just kind of when I want to. Each chapter is a different story and I'll post these between posting chapters of my main stories. And a TW for anyone who is sensitive to violence or anything scary. Not all of the stories are like this, but a lot of them are probably gonna be pretty messed up. Singed - My demon
A happy childhood, a so-so adolescence. Then adulthood arrived, and everything went to hell. And by everything, I mean it. Grown-up life is truly a wonderful, dazzling adventure! A job that drains your soul, stripping away any will to live while fueling a more or less justified homicidal instinct; depression knocking at the door with a lovely bouquet of red roses and, last but not least, the remnants of a social life buried somewhere under my shoes. Not the ones I'm wearing now; those are slippers, big difference. I mean the pretty ones in the cabinet that I haven't touched in five years. Love can be destructive. It catches you, ensnares you, devours you, and if you're unlucky enough, it leaves you standing in nothing but your underwear before reducing you to ashes. I had made peace with my "and she lived single, forever unhappy but safe" fate. A house, one, four, eight, maybe twenty cats and a future as flat as a heart monitor that's given up the ghost. No joys, minimal suffering, because there's only so much a heart can take before it calls it quits. And honestly? Fuck it, I'd been through enough. ... But he changed everything. In the worst, most terrifying way possible. From this abyss, I may never climb back out.
