"At the bottom of the stairs, I turned and my vision was greeted by the whitest of hair and the bluest of eyes. Perhaps I had known then itself, or at the very least had an inkling of an idea that this individual would change every particle of my life. After all, he was the man who had taken my most prized possession. He was the man who took the purity that had lain with me for all of my life. I couldn’t have known it then, but as his eyes caught mine and I took in his pale face, I saw the man who I would call my first kill," You'd think that the tales of Knights in shining armour and beautiful princesses would be long forgotten in post-apocalyptic Fern. But when on-probation Knightess Jax Incend is promised rain for the drought-ridden land as well as a full-time job, and all she needs to do is take the holier-than-thou prince, who just happens to be the messenger of Death, across the kingdoms and queendoms, it would seem that history repeats itself.

(COMPLETED) My name is questionable, but my status is not. I am lower than lower class. I am below the living and below the Gifted. I am Ungifted. I am the one who gets to die and save the world all at once. In a world where humans are gifted, being born without a gift, makes me dangerous. A prophecy controls my life and warns every one of the dangerous Ungifted girl. It foretells a future of me ending the world, so a solution was made. That solution is my death. But then I learn of a secret that changes everything and makes me question if my death would solve anything. My execution is set a week before my eighteenth birthday, but fate intervenes. A group of revolutionaries take me from my home and bring me to place that destroys everything I know. With my life in shambles, I must decide whether or not to join the revolutionaries in their quest to change the entire world. Cover Design: Ryan De Tomi
