A mother of twins (boy and girl) goes crazy and she kills her daughter, Rachel. She cooks Rachel (age 7) because her husband wants steak. There's no beef for the cows are dying of unknown reason. Rachel haunts her mother in a bird form.

There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.Complete
