Fate is with Heaven (Yamcha Short Story)

Yamcha Rekishiyoma, 24-year-old martial arts enthusiast and ally to the revered Goku Son, has never been cut a break. He trains, he fights, he struggles alongside the Z Fighters against the evils that threaten to terrorize the Earth. But somehow, his efforts to be as strong as his friends always proves futile.

In this alternate timeline, the young warrior resigns from fighting earlier than in the main timeline and retires to open up a modest restaurant with his life-long companion, Puar. After getting dumped by his girlfriend, Bulma, he gives up on his dream to marry and instead lives life as a peaceful bachelor.

However, it's not long until another woman steals his heart, only this time, she's the modest, mild-mannered Katsu. Enigmatic, she suddenly appears in his life and tosses it into a whirlwind of bittersweet romance.
