A dystopian story about a girl who saves the world by risking her life with a guy she just met to destroy an amulet that controls a robot army. Here is the first pharagraph : 

    It's a dark and rainy morning . I run as fast as I can non-stop.There's no place to hide from them . My lungs burn as I suck in a breath of the cold and frigid morning air around me . Running as fast as I can, almost out of breath I look for something . Anything I could use to escape them . As I run in my drenched sweatshirt , muddy grey tee , faded black skinny jeans and dirt covered converse I hold my people's only hope. A bright , glowing , ruby amulet . I round a corner down the dark alleyway and come to an abrupt halt . It's a dead end . I realize I'm trapped and do the only thing I can think of . I chuck the beautiful heart shaped amulet with the key as far as I can over the electric fence of the army base . Let's see how the government fends without the control of their precious army . They may have caught me but my people will still have Hope . Then the robots swarm in on me and I'm injected with something . It makes me feel nauseous and a bit woozy . My whole body goes numb and then I'm knocked out .All Rights Reserved

I mentally sighed and stared at him. The person they belonged to said "Mine!!!!" and buried his head into my neck and I could feel his nose moving against my skin and my neck was met with sparks, was he SNIFFING ME?! "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." I tried to push him away but he growled at me and held me so I couldn't move. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the family jewels. Bending down I whisper in his ear, "don't mess with me sweetheart and never call me yours." He growled lowly. "Oh you also might want to get a cough drop for that throat of yours," with that I walked off and swayed my hips back and forth. ~~~ Read this book to find out what happens! Daniel's neighbor Adrianna never talk but one day she needs a place to get away from her dad and they become friends, but only her friends know and he is still bullied. Meet Adrianna Robertson the bad girl is what people call her, when she was younger her mom left her the day she was born with her controlling father. Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in. I hear the clanking of metal loud and rigid from behind me, I feel the wind rush past as I sprint, they are still chasing me. I'll be honest I don't know what to do, quite frankly it's hard to think straight right now. I feel my body shutting down as the adrenaline is losing its punch, I can't run any faster. I'm always running, they are always chasing me. I don't even know why they chase me, I don't know what I did and like them they won't say. Do they even know? Am I just unlucky? Someone they picked at random to be the new subject of there torture? I wont let it happen. That's why I'll stay free, never fully contained. I think about the one I love, Charlie. I don't know where he is, I don't even know if he is safe. "Hey! Weapon down sarge, we don't want to kill her!" A guard's shout smacks me out of my train of thought. By this point I've gained some distance due to them having heavy armour. This stops me in my tracks though, I hear the guards slow down too. I stop, I realise, they want me alive. They aren't going to kill me, they don't want me dead. I have a gun, if I just point it at myself what are they going to do? I turn around and I look at all of the guards who have stopped in their tracks heaving in confusion. It's silent, even the wind is merely a whisper, all that can be heard is the panting of everyone on scene. They want me alive, they want me alive. I turn around, towards my chasers. I notice the guards straighten as I do so, instinctively I hold my gun to my neck, one bullet left, not enough for all of them but enough to kill me. They don't want me dead. I look to see all of them freeze in shock before one of the guards takes a step forward. I can't see their face, I can't see anyone's face but I feel like I need to know who this is. Before I can react they raise their gun and shoot. Pain explodes in my leg and I fall, all that running, for nothing. All I see now is black, I can't hear everything but I still feel conscious.

I don't really know what I'm doing, but when he bites my lip and pushes his chest to where it's touching mine my hormones go crazy for him. "Make me stop" he tells me pulling away to kiss down the opposite side of my neck. "Make me stop Grace" he tells me again kissing my lips again. "Don't ever stop kissing me" I demand to him meaning it as I grab both sides of his face and bring his lips to mine, I feel confident for the first time in my life, and he makes me feel good.

But when I get taken into a new rhelm and meet my team who have literally waited ALL my life to be able to get me back, a realize life may not be so bad. I'm learning to do wicked good with them by taking down bad wages, or giant beasts that have destroyed cities, or other magical crap like that. But just as things start to go right in my life, something happens that rips open the hole that was healing, and I don't know if I can take anymore.....
