I slowly turned around. She looked at me then quickly looked over to the piano. She touched the shinny black surface for the piano. Then she open the case and looked down at the keys. She looked at them for a moment then she sits down.  Slowly she presses two keys. The she presses three keys. Next thing I knew she was playing the song. The song I just played. I watched her from behind as she got every single key on point and the rhythm. 
     I slowly let go on the door nob and I walked toward her in amazed. I was behind her when she stopped. She turned around towards me. She pushed her dirty blonde hair off she shoulders. We stared at each other for a moment. I was curious to know who she was.

The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. Sylvia hid under the bed covering her mouth as the footsteps stopped by her door. She took a deep breath as they retreated downstairs, carefully she slid from under the bed stepping over the body beneath her before walking quietly down the stairs, she looked towards the direction of the shadow of the man before running to her fathers office hiding under the desk she grabbed her phone she dropped earlier and called the number she written down. "Hello?" The girl looked over the desk before ducking as the shadow came closer. "Hello, who is this? Is this you Rina? Not funny you know." She turned the volume down quickly as the man left. She put the phone to her ear whispering, "Venus?" "Who is this?" The girls head jerked up at the sound of sirens and flashing lights, she dropped her phone running for the front door... Venus Roberts, troubled kid, forced to move to a new town because of her fathers work, the young girl didn't like the feeling she got stepping into their new home, from hearing footsteps to seeing things, the young girl takes it upon herself to figure out what exactly happened when realizing it's connected to her brother.

No wonder I woke up so early. I quickly rose to my feet and rushed to the bathroom. "Marie! Are you even awake?" I didn't respond just yet because I was in the shower. A few moments later, the same person knocked on my door. "I've got the keys, Marie," she said. I could hear her shaking the keys outside my door. "You can't stay asleep forever!" Hurriedly, I placed on my blue blouse and pants. I grabbed the brush from the bathroom and started to comb my dark brown hair. Rushing to the door, I opened it to see my friend Ranie Accendo. I eyed her gray blazer over her white shirt, pants, and boots. "What took you so long?" she asked. "Nevermind that." I shook my hand dismissively. "Where are we going? If it's not important, I'm going back to bed." "To the forest." "The forest? Why?" Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." (All credit goes to my sister, who wrote this when she was in the twelfth grade)
