That was what my grandmother told me when I was just a few years old. I haven't taken them off since.

I, Alice Moody, am a descendent of Medusa.

In theory, it sounds amazing.

Although Medusa's look could turn one instantly in to stone, my eyes are slightly... Different.

One look into my eyes--just for an instant--causes instant death.

Poof. Your heart stops pumping. Lungs stop breathing. Brain stops working. In just a split second.

Everything stops.

Then it isn't so amazing.
