Raelyn Gallagher was a piano and violin prodigy, the star of the prestigious Ellin Arts Academy. However, after surviving a fatal car accident with broken arms and legs, she loses her ability to play music and is reduced to nothing more than a General Ed student.

On her way to Ellin, she encounters the transfer student Isaac Graham, a world renowned visual artist. Despite their polar opposite personalities, the two become fast friends, and Raelyn, for the first time, falls in love and soon rediscovers her passion for music.
