John Watson and Sherlock Holmes go to the same school. They barely acknowledge each other, yet both know they aren't normal.
Amelia Pond, Rory Williams, and a boy who calls himself the Doctor (he doesn't know why) go to a different school. They became friends because they each know they are different.
When they all learn they have magic and go to Hogwarts, they form an unlikely group of friends.
