Max was like most other people, very nervous to go to high school, but he's best friend, Zoey, was very exited. Max had a secret that only Zoey knew, and it was important to Max that it stayed that way. Max gets picked on a lot, and he didn't know why until middle school, he is gay. He was told that when he goes to high school, he's going to get beat up. He was scared so much he started puking when August came along. The only friend he has is Zoey, other people don't like him. He really didn't want to go to high school until he saw a boy the first day of school that he saw at the mall, he was so perfect. He looked a little older, maybe by a couple of years. They were trouble. You could just tell by looking at them. They didn't talk to anybody, besides others in the group and people in our school spread stories about them all the time. They were intriguing and we all wanted to be apart of them. But of course, they weren't exactly open to letting others in. Overtime peoples wanting to be apart of them lessened or went away all together. But mine never did and I knew exactly why. It was her. The way she held herself and the mystery of what not only they held but what she held to. I figured it would just be an infatuation from afar. But oh how I was wrong.
