Okay, what exactly is a disaster guide? It's a guide to help you, so you'll be prepared for every day disasters. Or (insert evil laugh here) you can use it as a weapon. After you learn some super duper sciency information, you can plan excellent revenges. No, that's evil. That reminds me, I'm evil. Oh well. Are you evil?
