Excelling both in solo and relay races, Kisaki Himari is well-known in middle-school, along with her teammates, as one of the best in their region. 

However, family got in the way of her bright and cheerful middle-school life. The past, became the future's trauma. Those around her, and Kisaki, herself, changed for the worst.

She transfers to Iwatobi High, and became distant from the things she loved. Little did she know, the gentle-giant of the Swim Club had been fixated on changing her life once more.
