“My face twisted with emotion, a sense of surrealism overwhelmed me like a horror movie has taken over my life. I felt such pain with no knife, so empty yet such a pit of anguish inside. His eyes starred down blankly at me, the red smothered me and held me captive like a prey under his predator’s domain. I longed for desperate closure, none of which came. I wrenched my body away in disdain; he lunged for my arm and jerked my torso to face him. I twisted with a stabbing pain hitting me like a tidal wave, I had nothing to say as I gasped for air willingly myself to breathe; my lungs rejected oxygen like poison. I felt hollow inside like someone has extracted my soul, numb with fear.”
