Even though it's been years, Mackenzie Hart is still haunted by her past. She was a good student, with a loving family, great friends, and a cute boyfriend. Then something happened that changed all of that. Mackenzie was raped. Her boyfriend, Brandon, couldn't take the pressure of everyone teasing him and thinking he was the rapist, so he broke up with her. Mackenzie thought her life was over. She was all alone, with no one to love her or help her through the depressing time. Then she met an old woman named Clara, who told her about the Greatest Love. Mackenzie wasn't sure if she believed everything the old woman was telling her, but she liked the company, so she kept meeting with her. It turned out, Clara had even more surprises than the truth about Jesus. But you'll have to read and find out!

In the Novel Redemption the main character Emma Ames finds herself unable to outrun the mysterious death of her father Matthew. When her mother Beth's questionable mental illness takes a turn she decides to tell Emma the truth. "They knew we were going to take you. I had to wait, make them feel secure again. Make them think it was all Matthew. I waited them out letting them think you were theirs. Until that night Emma, that night we ran away. You were finally free. Free to grow, and be your own person. Your own problem", her mother smiled at her through the tears. Emma responded "Mom what are you talking about I've always loved you". Beth hushed Emma, "but I'm not your mother, and Matt was not your father". Emma wouldn't hear it "Mom stop I always knew deep down I was adopted. It's okay you are still my parents." Beth needed to tell her the whole truth "Emma, you were not adopted you were given to us. Matthew and I were to raise you, and then give you back". Emma cut her off "What are you talking about mom? Stop talking this way. It's just the medications you're on. We'll talk later when your better and have had time to rest". Beth wouldn't rest "No, listen to me we don't have time. Don't trust them. Don't trust any of them". As the story unfolds Emma is faced with the death of her mother Beth. An unknown Uncle James steps up to offer his support to his now destitute niece per the request of his distant sister. Emma, following the wishes of her deceased mother, agrees to follow James back to their family's home town of Linden, Michigan. Beth's dyeing words haunt Emma as she struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The reappearance of a man she had met in a brief kiss between strangers takes Emma off guard. As she deals with her life and the truth of whom or what the object of her affection is unveils the truth of her own existence. The world she thought she knew is forever changed.

It's been thirteen years since Tyler has seen Mikey for more than just a handful of minutes in a passing visit. A ten year age difference hadn't stopped her crush, not after the fateful day he'd saved her life; he'd been home for Christmas, visiting his sister Val, who's married to Tyler's older brother, Reggie. Val had given birth to their first baby on Thanksgiving, and that Christmas was the first time Mikey was coming home to see him. As Tyler had been leaving the house, she'd slipped on the ice, hitting her head and knocking herself out. If Mikey hadn't found her when he did, rushed her to the emergency room, she would have died of hypothermia. That's when her obviously unreciprocated crush had started. She'd known him all her life. She was nothing more than his best friend's kid sister, the one he barely saw since making it to the N.B.A. and having spent the last ten years playing out in California. But he's home now, having been traded to Washington, the same city Tyler just happens to be going to school in. At twenty-one can she finally catch his attention? Can she finally tell him about her crush? The one she's had for the last five years. Will he ever see her as anything other than his best friend's little sister?
