Fawne Clarke was nine years old when she ran away from home. She has considered the forest her home, and it was always her home. It's where she can be free. She is 19 now. She's sure she's the only human bein living in that forest; nobody has ever crossed her path and she's sure nobody ever will. Until one sunny morning, she meets Robin Hunte, a motherly bold teenage girl with a cold heart and a smart, competitive mind. Although, they aren't the greatest friends. Until a military base helicopter spots one of them running in the forest from above. Fawne hears the news of the spotting in the forest and realizes people (scientists, news casters, orphanidge homes) are looking for them. She realizes what it takes to hide from them to keep her forever freedom in the forest has to take real sacrificing. Even if it means sticking together with Robin Hunte.

Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. However, Bo's parents didn't approve of the idea of a big-time, serious-about-school-and-work, New Yorker dating a small-town, not-so-serious girl from Montana. After bribing Bo to break up with Rosabelle Sage, the two friends part ways, thinking they'll never see each other again. Bo graduates college and becomes a writer, exploring different places and interviewing people to keep the story lively and more interesting.
