"Hi," he replied and we started laughing like teenagers. Well, technically we were, but that's not the point. Wait, was he even a teenager? I didn't know.

"So, Mate..." he said as if testing the word on his tongue, and it is a very talented tongue, for that I can vouch. "Tell me, what Pack are you from? You are an Alpha, I can feel it..." He traced his fingers up my side making me shiver.

"I'm from this Pack," I whispered and his fingers stilled. I opened my eyes and he was studying me. I tried to focus. "What Pack are you from?" Please say something far away!

"I am also from this Pack," he said and grinned at me, but I couldn't help my stomach dropping. "Who'd've known that my Mate would be waiting for me at home all this time!" Oh God, no... No, this couldn't be happening!
