Kat Markovitz: A complete dork, with all of her classes being A.P. level, who has even skipped a grade. Everyone thinks her a genius, but she just sped through the work to quickly during her years as a Home school kid.
Conrad Jackson: The new kid without a clue as to just how much of a introvert Kat is. He maybe the new kid but he has got a powerful secret, that just might include Kat, but how long can he keep that secret?
Half way through her sophomore year, Conrad showed up in her photography class. His white blond hair and hazel eyes that had small flecks of gold immediately got her curious even if she would never speak up and introduce herself, she was content having just the one friend. The teacher knowing this about her assigns her to lead Conrad around for the day. A couple weeks later she learned just what was so strange about the new kid while waiting for her Father to come pick her up. Conrad is in the middle of a fight with a guy when she tries to get away from them, only to end up becoming a ploy in his opponent’s plan of attack. After Conrad convinces him that Kat is not who he is looking for the opponent decides to deeply wound Kat in order to help his getaway.
Now on Conrad’s home planet of Shif, Kat is told just what is so special about her connection with Conrad, but can she ever return home? And what happens when Conrad’s estranged sister, hell bent on gaining the throne out from under her brother, comes into the mix? Can Kat ever go home and lead a normal life after finding out one of the biggest secrets kept from the Human Race? Or is this all just a big, horrible, nightmare that she just can’t seem to wake up from? That is just some of the many questions plaguing the young girls mind about this hidden race.
A/N: I am currently editing the whole story. Only the first draft will be posted onto Wattpad for any of my stories in an effort to make it more appealing to Publishers.
