❝Love, should I escape your snares, I doubt that I can be trapped by any other means.❞

Cora works for an organization known to her only as "The Company." Her job is to break prisoners- to destroy their will to live; to essentially bend their minds to The Company's will. She's excellent at her job, the best The Company has ever seen.

One day, a new prisoner is brought in, and it's Cora's job to break him. Something about him is different, though, and Cora can't quite identify what it is. He intrigues her.

So, when it all comes down to it, is it Cora who breaks Jimin, or the other way around?

Her Obsession

9 parts Ongoing Mature

Kim Seo Ah's obsession with Jeon Jungkook runs deep-far beyond simple love. It's a fierce, consuming force born out of shared trauma and the dangerous world they've both become entangled in. Raised in the shadow of the mafia, Seo Ah built her empire not for power or glory, but as a fortress to protect herself from betrayal and the ghosts of her past. Despite the ruthless exterior she's developed, her connection to Jungkook remains her greatest weakness. Her fixation on him is intertwined with her identity in the criminal underworld. She sees him not just as a lover but as an extension of herself-someone who has suffered as she has, someone who understands the brutality of their world. This obsession manifests in her desire to both protect and possess him, even if it means using violence. She would rather destroy everything around her, including herself, than lose him. But their reunion is not guaranteed to be peaceful. While their shared darkness binds them, it also drives them apart. The question is not just whether they will reconnect but whether their intense emotions will allow them to survive the dangerous world they've built around themselves without being consumed by it. Whether they can find peace together or if their love will destroy them both remains uncertain.
