"Luke, I want to die. I can't do this anymore." I whimper as thoughts of suicide keep running through my mind.
"Nikki. Baby, don't say that. You can't leave." Luke cries as he tries to touch me but I flinch away.
"But I can't stay here!" I scream at him. Trembling, I sit on the edge of my bed.
"But what about our daughter, Nicole?!" he yells back at me"You told me over and over that Delilah can't grow up without a father. Well she can't grow up without a mother either. She might only be 3 but she'll remember you. Then a couple years down the road she'll come up to me and ask me where you are. What the hell am I supposed to tell her then? You can't leave this family. I need you. Kylie needs you. Ashton needs you. Calum needs you. Michael needs you. But most of all, your daughter needs you." he says in disappointment and sadness.
I look up at him, frowning deeply. "I'm sorry" I say quietly.

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." He pleaded, holding my body up to a sitting position. I couldn't even remember what had struck me and I was getting nervous by Shane's worried face. "I'm... it hurts." I mumbled. "I'm so sorry." He held me closer. This time tears started to form in his dark green eyes but I could tell Shane didn't want to cry in front of me. My head started to feel more dizzy and I had to give in and close my eyes, much to Shane's dismay and his protests. I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg. I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better.
