Charlotte and her twin brother, David, are complete opposites. Charlotte gets decent grades and spends her life on the Internet, rarely any real friends. David, the baseball teams MVP, social butterfly, perfect grades. When a new student transfers to their school, David is to show him around the school and town. When David brings the transfer home, Charlotte doesn't want to call it 'love at first sight', but it is. That's until she sees the other side of the mysterious new student, Harry.

Riley Daniels isn't your normal girl but no one remember the normal girls that blend into the background. For starters her two best-friends are her twin brother Thomas and their friend Luke. The second thing about Riley is that she plays football and is a receiver. Also she doesn't have parents and lives with Thomas and Luke. When you are the first female footballer your school has since you don't have a lot of friends. For starters the Coach hates her and so does the cheerleaders but they have since she started school. Riley acts like a cheerful person but truthfully she is building up wall to push everyone way because she knows things that she hasn't ever told anyone else. What doesn't help is the fact that suddenly her world is threaten and everything and everyone that she once trusted isn't there anymore.
