Makenzie O'Connor was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 4. Her biological parents didn't want to have to deal with her so they gave her up for adoption at the age of 6.
She was now 13. She knew she was different. Others knew she was different too. The kids that she lived with bullied her for being different. She was depressed and had no friends. She thought she would never be happy again.
That was until she was adopted by a certain band called 5 Seconds of Summer.
