Starkey was born....different.
Sure, you'd think being raised a street rat was hard luck but Starkey would give anything to go back to dodging cops and stealing to survive then live a second longer with Mitchell and Patrick Grimes. They took him from the street just to have him steal and collect for them. And if he doesn't get what they want, there are terrible consequences.
And to top it all off, Starkey wasn't always in the street or with the Grimes. He was born in a lab, taken from his parents and tested on. Now, ever since he escaped from the lab at the mere age of seven, all he felt was cold. Having literal ice run through your veins would do that to you.

Turns out his fears were well founded as people appeared in the room, wasting no time grabbing him and his father. He had to watch in horror as they killed his father in front of him and set up his body as a suicide. They soon brought him to the magic dimension to see the extent of his powers and test on him. Luckily he made friends with Joseph Grandsire who frequented the lab and underlyingly hated what they were doing. After a year, Joseph was finally able to get Caleb out and through a realm gate. TLDR; Caleb arrives at a place full of people with super powers given the name "Supers". He later finds out that they are being tested on like he was and wants to help as much as he can.
