In her new group of friends, is an old friend that she has a history with. Feelings are rekindled and Libbie's first relationship starts up again. On her birthday, October 23rd, her friends take her to a party - where things get very out of hand. Feelings are lost, trust is broken. Because of that, she resorts back to her old ways - her old self-harming ways. She isolates herself, not wanting to see a single person. Joe and Andy, even Pete and Patrick, are worried about her, but don't know how to help. As her isolation continues, she finally decides to make ends meet by trying to be more social with everyone. But, as she starts to feel better and decides to go back to school, the bullying she received when she first got to school progresses, making everything ten times harder again. She's called names, horrible, horrible names - and all because she lost her virginity to the principal's son. She soon feels like she's nothing, like she's not meant to be here.
