Charlotte was determined. She was strong-willed. She was unstoppable.

That's why she joined The Black Parade: a gang of dauntless freaks willing and able to do what was necessary to cross the Dark Side. It may have seemed like a joke to Charlotte at first, but it turned into a serious trial filled with her darkest fears and flooded by her unending tears.

The only one that was able to keep her sane was the boy with no smile. He was almost nineteen - two years Charlotte's senior - and engaged to a woman in the Parade. She was mortified to find the one she needed the most was dedicated to a woman who didn't care.

When it's kill or be killed, eat or be eaten, deceive or be deceived, Charlotte would do whatever it takes to have her solace, her envied protection and comfort, all to herself.

And if it meant destroying the barrier in the way, then she did what the Paraders do: what had to be done. ~ ~ ~ This book has nothing to do with the My Chemical Romance song, "Black Parade." It simply has a the name Black Parade in it. I have not listened to the song, so if anything overlaps with its ideas, my sincerest apologies. I do not own the song or its rights, only the characters and storyline in this book. Sorry for any and all confusion/problems this may cause. This book is simply for entertainment.
