Once New Orleans became infected with the "Dark flu" everything changed. School became a doctors appointment and adults beame freakishly worried parents. Just as everyone was getting used to the daily checks, the flu suddenly became deadly. But not everyone is staying dead. Carmen, a normal 17 year old student become's a leader of a group of scared teenagers defending themselves against the walking dead, while trying to stay alive and find safe ground, Romace sparks, voilence grows and friendship becomes the only upperhand. Will Carmen and all her pack survive? Or will corpses rule in this Zombie Apocalypse?

It's been a while since the zombies broke out. A father runs a camp with his two daughters, one being successful and married and pregnant, the other mopes and hasn't taken to the man her father has chosen for her. When two strangers stumble into their camp the world turns upside down. Becca finally falls in love with one of the strangers against her father's wishes. The two have to fight for their love as everything is against them, the zombies, the gangs, the cannibals, and Becca's father.

Thanks to Nova a cure was made to eradicate the disease from the infected world. Those who weren't too far gone were turned back to human, others who had been surviving were made immune. Once you've been immunized zombies won't touch you. So that's not the issue. The only problem is Savages. Each time a new haven is created an army of Savages takes it over.
