Scientists are sending radio waves through transmitters into space from Earth. Searching the universe for signs of civilisations, such as our own. Messages are received from the Australian radio telescope. Can Australia really be trusted? Is humanity alone in the universe, or were the signals an accurate finding? Could there be life on another planet, galaxy even? We think we know so much, yet there is so much more. These are things that no one knows. The signals are repeated. We have found the planet. Who do they want to check this all out? Thirteen-year-old Quinn Carlesbury. Why? Again, no one knows. Quinn plans on keeping it that way.

Maxine is an 18-year-old girl who is bored and lonely, living in California in the year 2351. She's always been fascinated with how humans used to live in houses, drive cars, and the fact that there used to be forests and parks everywhere. Now, after a war that nearly erased humanity, people are forced to live a strict, dull, communist lifestyle. Everyone seems okay with this way of life. Everyone except Maxine. Maxine had always been special; she was often able to predict events. How? She didn't exactly know...yet. When she starts having dreams about a tropical island where people live as they did in the 21st century, she meets the man of her dreams: literally. Her new boiling emotions bring her to wonder...what if it's a real place? When she starts her search for the island and bumps into Elis-the man in her dreams-she suddenly knows it wasn't all just a making of her imagination. Finding that island could mean finding the answers to her burning questions, and maybe even answers to questions she didn't know she had. However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. The Advisors, the ten women governing the world, want to assimilate the people of the island, not knowing that those people have an extreme advantage over them. Maxine also learns that her family has been lying to her about who she really is. Ultimately, when the Advisors come to destroy the island, she must face the fact that she is the key to the island's salvation, and embracing her rapidly developing abilities is the only way to do so.

When We're Gone

5 parts Ongoing

Crystal Harper thinks she's just a normal teenager; no crazy parents, no strange events in her New York private school beyond the irritating Charlene Karsengale, and certainly no aliens. But all of this is uprooted when she and her best friend and someone she most definitely wouldn't call a friend, are kidnapped-- and brought to an FBI base. Crystal becomes exposed to the very real threats of Catchers, an ancient, superintelligent species of aliens-- who look perfectly human. As Crystal navigates her training, and the mixed feelings she has for her new life, and two boys in it, questions arise about the, and the strange obsessions these ancient, all-powerful creatures seem to have with special artefacts across the city and...with her. Within the same sprawling city, three teenagers lay low, hiding from the elitist powers of a private corporation, riddled with corruption and the secrets of experimentation. Alice James ran away for a reason. From him. From them. And she cannot be found. But dangers lurk within the darkened alleys of the bustling city, the very threats she's been trying to run away from-- perhaps even worse...
