Look, the gist of it is this:
As a writer myself, I get the problems of writing. All of those walls that are stoping us. And other things, too, not just things like writers block, although that's one of the biggest ones.
This is just some of my advice that I have learnt about that hard way about what to do and what not to do when writing.

Hello! So I've been asked to write a walking dead fanfiction a couple times now, I know the series is over but never late then ever am I right? With that being said TWD is a long ass series I'm not sure how long I'll do this for. I am starting by season one of the series just cause it makes more sense and gives me more wiggle room for developments. Some things will change from the original plot, if you don't like it then I'm sorry but don't read it. Eventually I'll stray away from writing word by word of what the characters say, just cause it's a lot to go back and forth to watch the episode to see what exactly was said and done. WARNING: This fanfic will be mature, which means there's gore, SEX and other mature themes. There will be no warnings it'll just happen. So, if you get squeamish at sex then don't read. If you don't like gore...then why are you reading a zombie fanfic? DISCLAIMER: I do not own TWD or its characters. I only own my own. This is a fan fiction after all. Once again, there WILL be plot changes and this fanfiction might not go all the way to the last season. Please enjoy. One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time.
