He has his parents adopt her out of pity. He isn't going to be her sister once she's adopted because the parents can choose how they are related and they won't consider her a daughter, but more of a friend.

Kace is a feared man and who doesn't tolerate disrespect. His best friend, Blake Williams, is his right-hand man and is always there when needed. Kace doesn't listen well in school but still surprisingly gets his work done. His mother was killed by their rival gang when Kace was seven years old. After that, Kace wants revenge for what they've done. The gang is his life and no one can tell him otherwise. But what would happen if both worlds collide?
