Jennifer Caffery's life turned upside down by the death of her brother, Daniel. And moving into a town she barely remembered as a child, she will encounter more loss and pain she could never fathom to receive. Heathenwood is not what the stories say it was. Lies and secrets unimaginable had lingered in the place that no one had dared to touch; but now that she had triggered the curse that moulded the place for centuries, everything will fall back from where it had all began. And with the death of her own soul, she is forced to become something she will either loathe forever, or to give her a reason to become someone she was meant to be in the first place.

Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
