Abigail and Robert Thompson - twins of the age of 16 - have Christmas coming up, so they're having a family get-together, but when they are sent up by their mother into the loft to get down the tree decorations, the twins find that their family are not as trustworthy as they were born to believe - or so you might think. Secrets are uncovered as they discover the truth about their Nan's life, and why she was so reluctant to ever talk about herself. It seems, adventure was in their blood, and they were about to find out why...
