Young but calm Winsten was just trying to find her self . Things in Houston wasn't doing what she needed in life . So what better way than to move to California. Oakland California might sound like the most roughest parts ,but don't knock it till you try it. Winsten goes and lives with her aunt for a new start but doesn't know that her middle age aunt is a mentor for ex juvenile delinquents . Winsten finds out the hard way about life but still finds a way out. She loses a few people and finds new ways to tend her pain inside . Secrets will be revealed and hearts will be broken. People grow up , how long will that take though.
