A girl named Dandelion

Dandelion Thomas has been passed from foster home to foster home since she was 5 years old. Now at 14 she's getting to old for the system. The only home willing to take her is Sydney, a 27 year old writer who lives in the middle of nowhere. Dandelion expects to stay for about a week before Sydney sends her back like all the other foster homes she's been kicked out of. Until she meets the only other kid in miles. Forest, the boy who teaches her how to live and let go of the tragic past that's always haunted her.
