The Not-So Forgotten Loser

Valerie has been around, but not in the sexual sense. She's been around in the sense that she is the epitome of Murphy's Law, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. She's been bullied past the point of sanity, she tried to hide from it all but it overtook her, she couldn't handle it anymore. But now? Now she carries her own, she can take care of herself, and she's back where it all began. She's back home.
Jose was Valerie's best friend growing up. When high school came along they drifted apart. When Valerie disappeared he was heartbroken to not know what was going on. He leaned on Marcus, his new best friend, for comfort. Marcus, however, he had secrets of his own that would soon come to light. Now that Valerie is back they're all seeking for closure and reasoning behind past events.
