For Kara, things were always random in her life; moving from state to state, from town to town, ever since she was little her life was chaotic. But when her mom sends her to stay with her Aunt and Uncle at their river rafting resort in Oklahoma random doesn't even begin to describe it. From her cousin's creepy pet lizard named Ralph, to the hot workers who work at the landing, not everything is what it appears to be. After a series of drownings, the resort begins to lose business due to their 'lack of safety' on the river, but never once in twenty years had the resort had a drowning. Determined, Kara sets out to find the truth behind the drownings so that the one place that's ever felt like home to her wont be taken away.
