I went back to staring out the window sipping my coffee. The flow of people had changed. It was past 9:00, so most of the formal-looking, hurried work people had fled from the streets. Now, it was the tourists left. They would wander from shop to shop, looking through the windows, pointing at the interesting ones, and occasionally go in. They would take pictures, of themselves, of friends, or just of the places. They realized that the city was alive, but they we're aware of it.

Soon, a familiar face walked past. He looked at the door's sign, and then entered. A tiny bell rang, signaling that someone had entered. Luckily, I was facing the door, so I could wave him over. I made eye-contact and smiled. His hair was tousled, like it was in the elevator. He wore a white t-shirt with a flannel button-up over it. His jeans were ripped, and he was wearing red Converse.

I had never had feelings for this boy, but seeing him like this made my heart melt.

Megan Monroe is your typical good girl. She gets her homework done on time, stays late to study, and is in every and any extra-curricular you could think of.

And, she is the only person in the entire school who doesn't like Jason Goode, the bad boy that every girl craves.

When Megan was studying in the library late one night, Jason was also there, but not for studying. His vandalism was much more important than schoolwork.

They both got stuck in an elevator, and the rest, well, you'll just have to read on.
