This story is about a girl named Rebekah Clayton. she has lived in Utah with her aunt, since the death of her parents. When she finds out that her online class is going on a field trip to London she is ecstatic. Not purely because it's London, but also because she her uncle John, who recently got sent back from Afghanistan, lives there.
When she arrives, she attracts the attention of Mycroft Holmes and develops a relationship that nobody saw coming.
A/N: I'm warning you now that this is not a romance. I might throw something in, but no promises. I just figured that there are a lot of fanfics in which Sherlock adopts a child, and I haven't found any for Mycroft, and he is one of my favorite characters. One more warning, I will probably deviate from the actual timeline of the show, so I guess it's technically an AU, but not really.
This is my first fanfic so please be understanding. I welcome comments and constructive criticism, but please leave spelling and punctuation alone, I already know I suck at that.
Two more things before I end my useless babbling. First, I will do my absolute best to come out with at least one chapter a week, and feel free to hold me to that. Second I have to give a huge shout out to snowdemon01 for being willing to just listen to me rant about my ideas, and then giving me some of her ideas.
Thanks everyone, Try to enjoy the story.

Some fluff 💕, some smut 🔞, each 'one shot' is usually over 20,000 words so they're more like short stories; written in a classic-lit style with a little British 🇬🇧 cottage core charm 🤎🍪🥛🎻
