Penelope stood on the hood of a black mustang car and scanned over the highway. Car's were crashed and it was deserted. Even the wind didn't sound the same as it use to be. Penelope could never understand how this happened, how the dead started walking. Although one thing she did understand was she was living in a world where if you didn't know how to shoot a gun or swing a crowbar... you would be dinner for the dead.

They say the main colour of blood was red. Like millions of red roses blooming in a field that was once a pale green. The droplets of blood would fall to the ground and create a path. A path which would hold a story of the victims life. Starting with one's birth all the way up until the moment the blood had started to leave the body and even beyond. Eventually the path would darken or fade in a torrent and it would wash away the red, leaving the roses to wilt and for the story to go unnoticed.
