Young Augustus Amoah a smart African Canadian girl, took a year off after graduating High school and became a waitress at a local restaurant in Mississauga. She decided to do something spontaneous and applied to Memorial University in Newfoundland for a marine biology program, a province that many think of as nothing put land. Residents is too expensive so she decides to rent a place close to the university. Once she fines a place online and gets in contact with the renter via email she packs her bags and heads to the province.  Meeting with her roommates in person becomes an issue due to accidentally renting out a male only apartment, and having Aspen McIsaac the person she contacted who mistook her as a guy and one of 4 roommates not only becomes her public enemy number one but also a professor at the university and the head of the marine bio club. Little does she know her experience in Newfoundland will be nothing but boring. But be filled with confusion, misunderstanding, new friends and strange situations.
