After a tragic incident that could've been avoided, one girl was taken into serious surgery done by world renounced surgeon with the help of a well known silicon-valley techie. The two replaced the girl's shattered spine with a computerized spine, turning her into Human Cyborg Version 2.0. Upon waking up after the surgery, she must learn to cooperate with the first Cyborg, Rex 1.89 and adjust to the new edgy lifestyle of being half a computer and half a human. Between maintaining a cover, cool new tech, and impossible missions made now possible, Averna v2.0 struggles to choose between keeping her humanity and following along with all her new abilities to complete her missions to make the world a better place.

The world is in a state of world peace but also mass chaos, the only things that matter in this future world are sex and money. Their us an elite force formally known as the FBI now known as UFD. The higher levels of the cities are for the wealthy the lower levels are for the poor. Mass chaos and violence run rampant in the lower levels the UFD try to maintain the peace but with so much going things tend to slip through. The Cyber Sword has access to many technologies but their man power is low, they have droids for low level missions but special detectives know as Cyber swords. Most security is privatized. He just barely registered the girl's surprised expression before Drake's fist met Jamie's face. A searing pain shot through his cheek and up his nose. Something cracked loudly, and he fell to the ground, blinded with pain. There was muffled shouting and a faraway thump. Jamie reached up to touch his nose. It was sticky, and his fingers came away wet. His glasses had been punched off, and he couldn't see anything very well. Then he heard her voice. "I had it covered, you know." Jamie blinked, trying his best to see. Before he knew what was happening, she was touching his nose. He winced, expecting pain, but the throbbing began to subside until it disappeared almost entirely. Pressing something hard into his hand, Jamie realized she had found his glasses.
