After a tragic incident that could've been avoided, one girl was taken into serious surgery done by world renounced surgeon with the help of a well known silicon-valley techie. The two replaced the girl's shattered spine with a computerized spine, turning her into Human Cyborg Version 2.0. Upon waking up after the surgery, she must learn to cooperate with the first Cyborg, Rex 1.89 and adjust to the new edgy lifestyle of being half a computer and half a human. Between maintaining a cover, cool new tech, and impossible missions made now possible, Averna v2.0 struggles to choose between keeping her humanity and following along with all her new abilities to complete her missions to make the world a better place.

Fourteen-year-old Allison Trenbalm is one of these six special humans. In the year 2295, a world of alien immigration, advanced technology, and a new world government, she is whisked away to the Academy for the Regulars and All Those Otherwise as a result of this energy. With adjusting to academy life, learning to control her power, a creature roaming the station, and the impending opening of the Havoc Rift, Allison and these other special humans have a lot on their plate. Six humans must control their power. Six humans must close the rift.
