Kristen is a girl with a wonderful passion for dinosaurs. She enjoyed learning about them as much as finding bones at dig sites.
One day, as she was at a dig site, she got a visit from Mr. Masrani to see if she wanted to help at the newest attraction site, Jurassic World! She took that opportunity to get as close to dinosaurs as possible.
After she steps onto Isla Nublar, she knows her life will change into a dream come true. But what she didn't know, many nightmares were coming her way.

With new safety precautions put into place, along with advanced technology, Jurassic World is deemed safe and the park is opened with Keira working among the herbivores on site. But things certainly begin to change when Keira meets up once more with ever-flirtatious and aloof, Owen Grady the Raptor Trainer as he steps into her territory. Meeting a t-rex in the flesh was unexpected, but meeting a chaotician wasn't very uneventful either. Maya Hyde is the newest paleontologist on the market, her name being tied to finding a new dinosaur skeleton, but obviously not just any cluster of bones, as she managed to dig up an infamous tyrannosaurus-rex with her team. It made headlines the second she arranged the excavation. Although she caught the attention of people she didn't want any. For example, her uncle, John Hammond, invites her to this mysterious island to see some stuff she had never seen before. By nature, she rejects him, but upon hearing that he would be funding her t-rex project she quickly changes her mind. That's how she ends up getting too close to dinosaurs for her comfort. Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven.
